FALL 2002 Workout ScheduleSunday: 5:00-6:30 pm deep pool Swimming with OrcasOur swim workouts are operated by Seattle University and are run under the name of "Seattle University Evening Masters Swim".LocationSeattle University Connolly Center, SE corner of 14th Ave & E Cherry St,(206) 296-6441 Cost$3 per workout, $10 - 4 workout punch card, $25 - 10 workout punch cardFinding your laneLook for the small orange cones at the coach's end of the pool. The numbers on the cone indicate approximate relative speed of lane (6 being fastest). Lanes are rotated monthly so no one group of swimmers is always on the wall lane.Getting ThereConnolly Center is located within walking distance to the South Capitol Hill / First Hill area.Driving/Walking Directions from Capitol HillFrom E Pike St & Broadway on Capitol Hill, walk east about 4 blocks to 14th Ave, then walk south about 8 blocks to Cherry St. Center is on SE corner of 14th Ave and Cherry St. Park on Street. Enter center on 14th.Driving Directions from Downtown / I-5Use the James St. exit in downtown Seattle. At James St. intersection, go East (up hill). Cross Broadway at top of hill and continue down hill. The street name becomes Cherry St. 14th Ave is the second signal after Broadway. Connolly Center is on SE corner of 14th & Cherry St. Park on street. Enter center on 14th Ave.Transit Directions from DowntownUse #3 bus line from downtown going southbound on 3rd Avenue. Ask driver to stop at 14th and Jefferson and walk one block north from there on 14th Ave. Enter center on 14th Ave just before Cherry St. Metro Transit information.What to do when you get to Connolly CenterBring ID, pay at counter and say you are with SU Evening Masters Swim. Pools are upstairs and through showers in locker rooms. There are two pools. We are not always sure which one we will be in so check with coach on pool deck to confirm you have found SU Evening Masters Swim and ask the coach for guidance on selecting a lane for your swimming speed.CALENDAROctober
